While it may seem there is a message here, the real point of my tale below is for each and everyone of you to come to the ARAMCO-BRATS, INC. 1999 ATLANTA REUNION. The story below is an example of why I will always go and if not for my Rose, I would still go because all of you, each and every individual contributes in some way to the memories of a common bond; Our life in Saudi Arabia. See YOU there!
Elvis's music still touches me in a way that I can only describe as the blazing furnace of true love, puppy love, first love. I would like to invite you on a trip. A trip of love and loss and hope and despair...So for those of you that are burdened by a hardened heart, or a cold soul, please forgive me as I lay out my "Rose of Arabia" saga. She "Walked like an Angel, Talked like an Angel, and in my eyes, she was my Princess in disguise."
Let me take you back in time, through the mist of life and the patterns of choice and let us once again stand on the heated sands and star blanketed skies of our youth, in a land of magic and passion like the desert movements. Singing and whispering through the eons of the loves it has seen come and go, forever touching the depths of the dunes, and breaking with the crests of the sea as the two meet together, sand and water. Then separate, as I did with my Princess, in the nights of Arabia, only to find and lose her again centuries of life later.
