Martha Speers Blazewski Chandler Reunion - 1997

Martha Speers Blazewski died on June 21, 2009 at her home in Missouri City, Texas. She and her twin brother Peter C. Speers 3rd were born on August 12, 1950 in Ithaca, New York, and spent most of their childhood in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and London, England. Martha's high school years were spent at St. Stephen's School in Rome, Italy. After graduating from St. Stephen's Martha attended Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. After leaving Iowa Martha moved to Texas and worked in various administrative positions in Austin and Houston, most recently as assistant manager in the Office of the Dean of the University of Texas Medical School. In 1989 she married Dale Charles Adamson, who died in the following year, and in 1991 she married Ronald Casmere Blazewski, who survives her and was with her when she died. Beside her husband, Ron, Martha is survived by her parents, Peter C. Speers Jr. and Ellen M. Speers of Austin, and by her brothers Peter C. Speers 3rd and wife Irma of Austin and Theodore M. Speers and wife Susan Thompson of San Jose, California. Also Peter and Irma's sons Christopher and Patrick and Theodore and Susan's daughter Lauren and son Allen.
